Dr. Jyothi has completed her MBBS from Thrissur Medical college in 1997. Also she has Worked as a Lecturer in Ophthalmology for one year in Thrissur Medical college, during this year she acquired her experience by teaching DOA students. She completed her master degree from Aravind Eye Hospital Madurai and get experienced in the use of all sophisticated instruments used in modern ophthalmic practice. From Aravind she enhanced her experience in teaching by providing classes for junior residents ,nurses and other paramedical staff for 3yrs . She also worked as a consultant in Al-Shifa Hospital Perinthalmanna for 2 years and Worked in Ahalia Foundation Eye Hospitals Palakkad as a consultant for 4 years, besides general Ophthalmology she was managing paediatric ophthalmology & oculoplastic dept. also she has well versed in doing cataract surgery including phacoemulsification. During her tenure in Ahlia she was taking both theory & practical classes for DOA students, ophthalmic nurses and resident doctors doing fellowship in ophthalmology. she was also involved in preparing model question papers for DOA students.
