Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim graduated from a prestigious Medical College in Chennai and then went on to pursue MS in General Surgery from a reputed Medical College in Chennai, where he took special interest in laparoscopic surgeries and other endoscopic procedures. He then went on to complete his MRCS degree from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK. He also completed his Diploma in DNB - General Surgery - from New Delhi. He is trained in major respective surgeries in cancers of Head and Neck, Thyroid, Breast, Gastro-intestinal, Uro-Gynecological and musculo-skeletal systems and also in various oncoplastic and aesthetis plastic reconstruction procedures after cancer surgeries. Dr Ibrahim has many awards and medals to his credit. He has presented various papers and posters on Surgical Oncology, in various National and International Conferences and journals. He is an active member in various academic bodies, including the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Indian Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK, and the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO), Illinois, US. He has performed various major onco-surgical procedures for breast, gastrointestinal, colorectal, urogynecological and musculoskeletal malignancies. It is noteworthy that he has devised a special technique for chemo port insertion, for patients who require Chemotherapy.
