Dr. K Rajalakshmi completed her MBBS from Thanjavoor Medical College, University of Madras, DGO from Thanjavoor Medical College, Bharatidasan University and MD from Madurai Medical College, Dr. M G R Medical University. She has around four decades of experience . Until 1996, she was in Tamil Nadu government service working at primary healthcare centres, govt. hospitals and taluk hospitals. After taking VRS from government service she was working at MB Hospital, Malappuram until June 2013.
