He has got tremendous experience in the field of general surgery. Worked in various Medical colleges in government sector. Retired from government service in 2004 and there after working in Cosmopolitan Hospital as a Senior Consultant in General Surgery. He had also worked in Saudi Arabia, under Ministry of health as Surgical Specialist.
