Dr. Ali Faizal, an alumnus of Calicut Medical College, worked as Consultant at the prestigious Madras Medical Mission, Chennai, along with doyens of cardiac care in the country after completing cardiology training from Bangalore University in 1996. He along with his team was instrumental in setting up one of the most successful and large cardiac care programs in Kerala. During this period the first successful Primary angioplasty program for treatment of myocardial infarction was established in the private sector, which proved a model for the others. He is one of most experienced interventional cardiologist in the state and is considered as a pioneer in the field in the state. Dr. Ali as one of the directors of MeitraHospital has taken up the additional responsibility of being the Chief of clinical services of the hospital to create and operate the best possible medical care in the region along with his team of clinicians.
